Due for release on July 13th in Dublin. Further details to be announced. Further work will be the release of a fascinating autobiography of Fausto Vilar Esteban, a Valencian who wrote of his experiences when serving in the Lincoln Washington battalion between October 1937 and April 1938. This account is probably unique in that it examines the sometimes tenuous relationships between the Spanish troops and the International volunteers. Expect this to be released in April 2010. Further work seems to be taking on an American form with Harry Fisher's 'Legacies' which is Harry's autobiography written shortly before his death. Another project is the reprinting of Alvah Bessie's 'Spanish Civil War Notebooks'. Though we will not be able to imitate the fine quality of the University Press of Kentucky's beautifully produced 2001 edition this will be a useful edition which is now out of print. Other titles are being edited but for now please be satisfied with these new releases and expect those mentioned above for release in Spring 2010.
